4·4 days agoMy dude I’m dual citizen Chinese and us, stealing from the rich and building the fundamentals of society equally is kinda my jam, even if someone did fuck up and make me a us citizen by default.
The American working class, despite making far more than their peers in the global South, are usually more poor than their peers in the global South. Home ownership is a myth and favelas are banned here; you’ll not only never retire but even if you manage to get to retirement age all your money is going to go to medical care. You might have a car but you need it to live since there’s more distance between your house and the only grocery store than there is between most villages in poor countries. Hell all the wealth the US stole still has more people living near open sewage lines than any country in South America. Shit even the cops are more corrupt than those in the south but you can’t even bribe them since they’re paid so much by the rich to protect their property.
The American poor are happy to give up the wealth their country stole, because they never saw any of it.
That line only works when most of the global north aren’t more poor than those in the south.
Most people in the western world do want to remove the stolen wealth and return it, since they’ve never seen it either.
Okay. There were staunch abolitionists across the US and especially in the UK. Many of whom were operating on the basis of equality, i.e. not the American belief that black people are a subspecies that were sent from heaven to serve whites, like all the leaders of the US though before the 1900s.
So by your own method, Washington was a disgusting human being, one would argue a demon.
That would require democrats to have fundamentally different goals than Republicans.
And attacking their gender identity gives people the right to attack yours, as well as whatever else that is not mainstream about you.

To put it another way, in a space of inclusion you cant target white people for their race, otherwise you’re just racist towards whites. (Yes I’m aware some spaces don’t recognize reverse racism, and I’m aware of the incredibly stupid arguments racists come up with to justify that). In a space of inclusion you cant target straights for being straight, otherwise you’re no better than antigay bigots.
In a space of inclusion you cant target a gender identity you don’t like because it might be a troll, because then you’re exactly as transphobic as the people calling your gender identity fake. You’re performing the same actions for the same reason, just with the belief that person isnt as serious about their identity as you are.
Attacking the validity of someone’s gender identity is still transphobic no matter if it’s a troll or not. There is no good that can come from it and all arguments you will use have already been used verbatim against identities that are more common.
Because you yourself, someone banned for transphobia, are telling the story. It also doesn’t matter if they are trans. You’re using their identity as a weapon.
These two things lead me to trust the actual trans person that did the banning over you, a transphobic user.
They weren’t bullied, they were shut down for have transphobic views.
If they left the fediverse over being told to stop being transphobic, that’s a good thing. Someone’s gender or sexuality isn’t a shield to abuse others.
Cross posting to other comms counts as additional posts. As far as whatever situation you’re on about, quite literally who cares. Not all trans people are good people and there are objectively fascist trans people, a quick visible example is Caitlyn Jenner. Trans people are not special. They don’t get special rights. If they want to spout bullshit that’s against the rules or morality of a comm they get banned like anyone else. Treating them differently because they’re trans would be transphobic.
I really don’t get how you people in general consistently fail to understand that.

You’ve made at least a dozen posts about this. Clearly they upset you by denying you your God given right to shove an opinion they vehemently disagree with in their face. Most people don’t react the way you have when they’re told they’re not welcome somewhere. They just move on.

What you described is Medicaid. Something that is available everywhere in the US, and is not in anyway related to UHC.
Free at point of sale is just that. All developed countries have this, many developing countries have it.
You get treatment. At some point your id is found or you give them it. You walk out and never worry about payment.
Just like you don’t pay to drive on roads in a civilized society, or pay to use a library, or pay for a child’s education.
Yes, it’s funded by taxes, but you don’t pay, since that would be inefficient and too expensive.
UHC is more efficient because it is centralized and equal. You don’t have to waste trillions on figuring out how much someone makes or if they’re a gold member of this or that company. You don’t need an army of useless admins making up a billion billing codes so some company can try their hardest not to pay what they’ve been paid to pay.
It is just: you pay taxes. If you need it you get healthcare. You don’t ever “qualify,” there are no means tests, there is no different treatment based on how well off you are, you just get healthcare.
That’s still incorrect. UHC isn’t just subsidized, it’s free at point of sale. There are no counties in the US that offer this. There are no organizations in the US that offer this.
Texas does not have universal healthcare. It does however have the second highest maternal mortality rate in the developed world. Not just the US.

Now you can argue all western and Eastern sources are undercounting nk and China, that’s why I didn’t even include nk given the natural mistrust of information from a country with less than 10k tourists a year; but any search of this info online shows the same trend: Chinese nationals dont commit suicide as often as their oppressed neighbors.
