Somebody at openai better be requiring stuff so it literally never works to launch anything ever.
There is no context in which launching nukes is acceptable. The world should completely disarm and destroy all records of how the weapon tech even works.
Will never be acceptable. We shouldn’t have them, no one else should either.
If I was elected, my first EO would be to immediately destroy all of ours without making any demands regarding it. We’re all cooked if any of them is used, so I don’t see a downside here. And before any political goals I might have, that would be way higher a priority.
Maybe but a ceremonial briefcase to represent the occasion as a memorial to the sheer hubris of even thinking of this idea.
I don’t even know what system it was at the time, but the first time I figured out things weren’t just on “computer” and were on a particular operating system and that Mac didn’t do games at all, I hated them immediately. They were completely useless for my use case.
I remember when iPods got popular that I specifically didn’t want one, I wanted a different mp3 player. I got one of the first Dell ones. I forget the name of it now. It was either a “jukebox” or maybe that was the software’s name. It has the scroll barrel on it. Had I think 15 or 20GB on it. I was so much happier with it than I would’ve been with an iPod. For one I didn’t need to cover my entire library to aac. And iTunes was just a nightmare on Windows in general from what I heard. There was no software needed for the Dell one. You just moved your music on like a removable hard drive. Playlists were actual separate files that were somehow associated to the songs. I never did (and still don’t) really care about playlists.
I’m too millennial for that. I just play the album I wanna hear. Or nowadays if I’m too lazy or in a hurry I have an automatic playlist that knows what kinda stuff I like to listen to and just plays from that set.
I hated apple way before I hated windows. But basically just fuck corporations entirely. All of them.
Damn I don’t even remember that in this movie.
I do cringe from the memory of it happening in “a quiet place” though.
I think I remember seeing this back when it came out. What was this printed in?
You guys have windows positions?
All the flavors together maybe. But not if you think of any specific one.
Eleventy eleven.
Making 119 eleventy nine and 1110 eleventy ten, and therefore, this is eleventy eleven.
I did the math.
Every bug that is black and yellow and can sting is a bee.
That’s all anyone needs to know.
This comment wasn’t checked, too.
Yeah, we know. xD
We tried to tell you.
The first time I saw this a sub teacher showed it to the class.
Fuck I wish imperial would just disappear. Metric is 100% better in every single way, bar none.
This post is the first time I’ve heard of the movie.
When morons say something about a “political nature”, it’s just code for briefly mentioning (and then not instantly condemning) anything about a character that doesn’t fit into:
Straight white cis Christian household with the oldest male the sole breadwinner and the oldest female barefoot and pregnant and tending to their (at least 2) kids’ needs, and keeping house while still doing her “wifely duties” for him, all while being in the kitchen.
They hate immigrants and anyone different from them in any way. They tolerate them if they stay where they came from.
Anything else they disagree with is a political issue, because an extreme version of their religion is their political party, do anything they disagree with means God hates it, and their party will vote against it, and the normal people will vote for it, thereby making it a political issue in an ass backwards way.
I guess I was only thinking about grocery stores. That’s the only one I really care about personally, because it’s the most common line I get into. Other stuff I usually buy online.
That’s what I was talking about. You still gotta queue to scan the code. If store could add a lane or two just for people to scan it, it’d be great, but all I’ve seen is having to join the normal line even for that. So it ends up helping the people behind you more than it helps you.
Which will eventually help you as more people do it, but doesn’t help a lot at the moment. Although it could lead to more trouble as everyone stops in the aisle to scan stuff now.
Don’t forget the new socks that apparently come with it
