Every source I could find says that closing the lid is better.

When it started to look like Bernie was going to win, the Dems went into a tailspin. It was a real mask-off moment.
I voted for Bernie. Twice.
That word “feasible” is doing a lot of work. No doubt the politician I want to vote for won’t be “feasible” for some reason, and the one you want me to vote for is.
Another cool thing is Ventoy. Install it to a thumb drive with a bunch of different distro ISOs, and you try out all kinds of flavors of Linux with installing them.
graffito*
One graffito, two graffiti.
Does it actually help with pickpockets though?
I’ve never had it stolen, so…perhaps?
I feel like if anything, it advertises its location
Where else would it be? Don’t right-handed people store it in their right front pocket? And since most people are right-handed…you’re going to be correct most the time.
with a good strong yank the fabric loop is attached to would just rip out.
That would be a helluva strong yank, though, and it would certainly be much more difficult than just lifting the wallet out. Nothing is going to be 100% secure. It’s about making the theft as difficult as possible.
I don’t understand why anybody wouldn’t use a chain wallet. You don’t have to worry about your wallet falling out or getting pickpocketed.
I think Connect is closed-source. I haven’t been able to find much info on it, though, which is weird.
You’re surprised that open source folks are using an open-source, decentralized network?
I loved Infinity for reddit, too, but I’m kind of squeamish about installing pre-release code on my phone. I’ll wait until it’s out of beta.
Yes. And no.
FOSS isn’t about “corpo hate”. It’s about freedom. There’s a philosophy behind it. You can, of course, disagree with it, but I think you should know what you’re disagreeing with.
If the users don’t control the program, the program controls the users. With proprietary software, there is always some entity, the developer or “owner” of the program, that controls the program—and through it, exercises power over its users. A nonfree program is a yoke, an instrument of unjust power.
This isn’t showing up in F-Droid or the Play store. Has it not been released yet?
What a horrible night to have a curse.
Just look at the defense budget every year that easily dwarfs that of other countries (and continues to grow!) It passes with no contest from either party.
The problems with that party go a lot deeper than one woman.
And this is a problem?
