Man. This reminds me of one of the funniest moments in all of life.

My niece came over to spend the weekend with my daughters and used my exes laptop to look at videos on YouTube. She was really into everything babies at the time, but specifically diapers and bodily functions (thank you baby alive).

She looked up “baby peeing”. She shared nearly 20 videos of baby alive dolls and diaper changes on my exes Facebook with captions like. “Look at the wee wee water awwwwwww”. “This baby sure pee pee a lot”. “This baby poop like playdoh”.

Then she moved on to animal videos. I guess the baby alive dolls made her think of the bodily functions of animals.

She posted several videos of animals urinating.

“Awww he got pee pee everywhere.” “What a nasty nasty mess”.

And finally, the video that led to a call from a friend of hers. Somehow in the rabbit hole of animal videos she found one of pigs mating. “Look at pig ride the other pig. So funny.”

This is right around the time of the first iPhone and we were still using computers so no notifications. When she logged in she was so humiliated. Comments like, “are you ok girl?” And finally, “ok this is just nasty. Something is wrong with her and someone needs to take her computer away.”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more humiliated person haha.

My kid was crazy about those books.

I only do when my daughter is staying somewhere and doesn’t have food to eat. That’s rare, but it has happened a few times.

We had a terrible old LCD projector we hooked the Dreamcast to for Quake III arena. It would overheat so you couldn’t keep the back on. To block the light and cool it down, we’d sit it in the window with a box fan behind it and taped cardboard up around it.

It lit up the entire street in front of my house.

Most of the guys i played with are dead now.

I’ve been playing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 a lot recently and I wish so bad I could go back with the skills I’ve devolved and beat them.

Time flies and nothing is permanent. I really miss those guys bad sometimes. Been hitting me hard recently.

It is crazy how fast time goes by, especially if you deal with some kind of trauma. I swear, my divorce was almost a decade ago and I’ve been with my current wife almost as long. Feels like a year maybe. It just slips through your fingers.

I was around 20 when that pic started circulating. I was definitely addicted to counter-strike at that time.

Everybody being mean to you, but I ate at the same Chinese joint all my life. Chicken lo mein special was 6 bucks for most of my life.

I ordered the same special a few weeks ago and it was nearly 20 bucks.

After covid the restaurant went downhill as far as cleanliness goes too. For a couple years you’d call in your order and grab your food from a table blocking the door. They only take cash and they trusted the public to pay and then reach into a basket to collect their change. That meant a lot to me so I ate there pretty often.

Once they opened back up though, I went in and the floors didn’t look like they’d been mopped the whole time. I thought, “maybe people were excited to come back and that’s why it’s so dirty.”

Nope. Still hasn’t been mopped.

Man, all the sinks I’ve seen over the years with vice grip knobs haha.

I had an old friend who showed up to the office naked. He was a local legend for his stunts. He walked in and sat down. The dude behind the desk asked him what the hell he was doing. He said, “Well, y’all are getting ready to fuck me, ain’t ya? I figured I’d go ahead and get undressed.”

He worked at a mine, so it was all men, and it was the 90s. Everyone knew his sense of humor and everyone loved him.

He was back at work 3 months later.

He died from black lung in 2019. The whole damn community was broken up about it. Everyone who talks about him has some crazy story.
