Come to Germany. We had a wealth tax until 1996 and whenever it’s revival is publicly discussed you can see that the majority is against it even when the majority of our people would never have to pay it and would profit from it. It’s mind boggling that the people are still willing to defend our current “don’t tax the rich” policy…

Black Swan is about a ballet dancer who, driven by the demand to perfectly play the lead role in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, descends into madness.
It’s with Natalie Portman and a truly amazing movie. I absolutely recommend watching it, even when you’re not into ballet.
Edit: To be honest just watch Joker too. It tells the story of Joker becoming the Joker and Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing job playing the role. It’s completely different from any DC / Batman movies and probably not what you’d expect from a movie that plays in this universe.
Both movies are great psychothrillers.

4·1 year agoDid you play Path of Exile? If so, how does Last Epoch feel compared to PoE. My favourite aspect of PoE is the hilariously fast gameplay when skilled somewhat correctly and up to this point I didn’t find a loot based ARPG that got to this point.

This is so me and my wife. After waking up she needs at least a coffee and a cigarette. Before that you just can’t (and don’t want to) talk to her.
I on the other hand am online mere minutes after waking up which is good for our kids but bad for any attempt of starting the day peacefully with my wife… 😬
You’re correct but you apparently don’t know how exhausting it can be to listen to kids talking from the second they wake up until the very moment they fall asleep.
I am very bad at filtering input (especially sound and touch) and sadly the Christmas days, when daycare was closed, were complete torture for me.
