They’re already starting an attack on FOSS (free open source software) with FB declaring Linux news/content a security threat .
The actual threat is to the for-profit golden geese and billionaire egos that just got dunked by a free alternative.

I’ll be honest, there’s some fiddling, but you can run a jellyfin server from a laptop/desktop pretty easily for home streaming.
If you can find your way to the jellyfin-server installer for your OS, and point it at a library folder, just putting media in that folder is all you have left to do–it pretty much takes care of the rest, and all streams over your local home network.
