I think it’s in reference to how bi people are often told they are being “greedy” for wanting all/both sexes rather than just having the '“one” the speaker expects. This usually then leads to the misguided conclusion that they are promiscuous and unfaithful - https://lgbtqiacounseling.com/bisexual/bisexual-stereotypes/#Bisexuals_are_Greedy_or_Unable_to_Commit
While a simple solution for a popularity contest, it has great drawbacks when looking for techique comparison. Someone’s family may be bigger or louder than others, some people may have more fans in the audience, who can afford to attend will skew the vote, being an international event would mean that it’s likely the home team has the advantage as people from the host country have a greater opportunity to attend, some event crowds may be determined by time of day or by public transportation, and the audience may not see the whole (5 hour breakdancing) event and certainly won’t see the performers as well/as close as the judges would. Additionally the audience has so many new viewers during the Olympics that don’t know how hard certain moves/sequence of moves are while some easy flashy moves will wow a crowd every single time. None of those things show particularly compelling qualification to determine how technically good the performer/performance is.
It does kinda create the illusion of soapy bubble filled white water. If you change thinking about the ‘white water’ section to actually be the see through part in between clear round water droplets (the ‘bubbles’) that are clinging to the side of the container.
It’s most likely someone recently poured some water out of it from the spout at the bottom and what water is left on the sides from the former water line slowly makes its way down to the new water level.
Someone once described Oklahoma’s weather pattern with this list:
Their blogs just got integrated fairly recently with the fediverse.
Are there any other good mushroom bible books to check out?
I believe it stands for Linus Tech Tips and Linus Media Group
Officially named Pussyhats, they were first worn symbolically at the 2017 US Women’s March in Washington DC. Created by Krista Suh and Jayna Zweiman (who met at an LA knitting club), the hat was made in direct response to grab em by the pussy remark from tdump. The original idea was for marchers to knit, sew, or crochet hats to create a visual statement —a sea of pink. “If everyone at the march wears a pink hat, the crowd will be a sea of pink, showing that we stand together, united,” reads the introduction to the knitting pattern on the Pussyhat Project website. The actual hats were created by people who could not attend physically, but wanted to show their support.
Since then, some have come out against it as any one symbol isn’t as all encompassing as they would like, but none have yet given or inspired a good replacement for such a strong show of women’s solidarity.
The Pussy Power Hat is more than just a piece of headwear; it is a symbol of protest, unity, and the power of grassroots movements. The project demonstrated how a simple act of knitting could contribute to a larger political discourse, inspiring similar initiatives worldwide.
