Off topic but cross posting interesting threads from lemmy to Reddit and linking the lemmy thread is an interesting way for people to discover and move to Lemmy
They’re still pretty bad at being currency. Transaction fees are still too high and it’s still pretty slow and/or complicated
These are some really good points. I’m personally more interested in the development of PieFed than SubLinks due to the focus on making it easy to contribute, the developer cares about usability and mod tools, its in Python, and the developer posts dev blogs and answers questions on mastodon https://join.piefed.social/blog/
Waterfox is a good fork to move to
I would not buy shares of this company if they were pennies. This company continued announcing new product before shipping the previous products and then had major issues with quality and many people reported refusal of refunds or fixes and a ton of shady behavior
Wait whatt? Can you share a screenshot?
Why did you use imgur instead of uploading them here?

I havent noticed any liberapay support on peertube channels. I can’t find any information on liberapay on peertube either, could you share some links?
I know, they actually run their own instance
I use YouTube for blender tutorials and find new tutorials that are straight to the point all the time so I’m not sure what you mean.
Also if anything that’s a reason for making monetization via a system like patreon even more important instead of an ad based monetization.
Not until they make it possible for creators to make money. At least with a patreon type system on peertube itself
Would be nice if they started recruiting people who create tutorials too. It’s almost impossible to find video tutorials on blender outside of YouTube and now tiktok
I’m very confused on how they were one of the first more well known companies to fully launch their own search engine. I would have expected Mozilla, Apple, or Facebook to do so first. Hopefully Proton launched one soon (or buys and open sources Kagi)
Does Plasma make games run better somehow? What makes the Plasma version of Garuda “for gamers”?
