  • Literally had a show about it

Which was quote meta considering he literally had a show about it.

Man I wonder what Tim Allen’s been up to. I wonder if he did another show literally about performing masculinity where he literally has a show about performing masculinity in the show.

    Man that’d be wild.

To me, Art is a catalyst for discussion, reflection, and expression.

So yes, I view internet trolling as a form of art. Maybe not capital A Art, but is it not the art of a sub culture? A way to catalyze discussion, debate, expression? A well crafted message that in often a hundred words or less that sparks endless debates and reactions?

Is the art the catalyst or the consequences?

Is the art the banana or my feelings about it?

To me I think its all art.

  • I learned something interesting from my AI researcher friend.

ChatGPT is actually pretty good at giving mundane medical advice.

Like “I’m pretty sure I have the flu, what should I do?” Kinda advice

His group was generating a bunch of these sorta low stakes urgent care/free clinic type questions and in nearly every scenario, ChatGPT 4 gave good advice that surveyed medical professionals agreed they would have given.

    There were some issues though.

    For instance it responded to

“Help my toddler has the flu. How do I keep it from spreading to the rest of my family?”

    And it said

“You should completely isolate the child. Absolutely no contact with him.”

Which you obviously can’t do, but it is technically a correct answer.

Better still, it was also good at knowing its limits and anything that needed more than OTC and bedrest was seemingly recognized and it would suggest going to an urgent care or ER

So they switched to Claude and Deepseek because they wanted to research how to mitigate failures and GPT wasn’t failing often enough.

I agree with the sentiment (ads blocked in so many ways here).

However, people are looking to buy things and ads do work. I used to discover cool products and go to cool events I found because of ads and algorithms.

But I swear I haven’t seen anything worth buy for years before I went full anti-ad. Its all temu drop shipped garbage and AI cheating tools now. I don’t even get hot singles like the good old days!
