I think a huge part of it comes from the usage of “wokeness” as a political tool and the fact that companies made it a marketing strategy. What I hear mostly by people opposed to inclusion is that it is in everything, even if it’s not relevant (in movies for example, there is a heavy emphasis on the fact that someone is gay even though it is supposed to be a John wick ish movie where no one should care about which hole except the bullet hole).

I think that it should be included in everything whenever it fits, que the “there is a time and place for everything” pokemon meme. I think we have that more and more these days too :)

Can confirm on the MacBook side. My girlfriend got a m series macbook and it’s better than anything in it’s price range. That device is so snappy while having a battery life that’s incomparable to anything with windows

If you want to read more, don’t listen to others with recommendations. Find something that you like and find books about it. Don’t like it, find another and sell or giveaway your first one. Everyone can read, but not everyone is made to read heavy tomes and they also don’t need too!

I guess I’m getting too old. Is everyone these days offended by crumbs? And don’t come in with your vocabulary evolves, works both ways. Were I live everyone uses a multitude of slurs and nobody is hurt in the process, but if they do. Then they open their mouth and we have a civilized discussion about it. I think I’d go for a pocket smartwatch since they have no need for a lot of sensors and room for a bigger battery. And yes, I do know that if you will take something out of your pocket anyway, why not just your phone? For that I have no answer, I still want one
