Ahh, the reason is it isn’t pinned, it’s just the first post, and by a mod. I checked on the web interface, too. Ok, I feel a little less dumb for not having seen it - I just don’t tend to sort by old.

5·1 year agoI know it was up to just about 60°(f) yesterday in my area. I didn’t take the sirens very seriously, but 59° after a week in the 20s and 30s - I guess it does make sense. (After a week of way lower temps too)
I thought the same about seagulls - dumb bird, you don’t live anywhere near the sea… I actually would call them “parking lot gulls”
At least titmice have the decency to be cute!
Tufted titmice are among my favorite birds - and not just because I get to say “tit” in polite company… Also cockatoos and cockatiels.
I mean, to be fair… With the way Mt Dew eats up my stomach lining, I can sort of understand someone thinking it might get rid of DNA on the skin… Kinda…
