Or piefed! ;)
Theres a lot of good servers both on lemmy and piefed, but the mod tools are really good on piefed.

Or instead of individual votes do a dump like an rss. Like only update when I ask every 10 minutes or so. Get everything from x - y time and just give me the totals. Probably only good for smaller instances though.
Its a feature not a bug :)
My issue is lemmy.world (and other bigger instances) is so big that it was just slamming my tiny personal lemmy then later piefed server, so I had to give up. There was a HUGE queue of changes for my little instance of one user.
Thanks everyone!
And Blaze.
Yep! I do dev work and try out fedi accounts. I have a backup piefed.
He’s everywhere!
Same but with piefed. It’s the same communities. Love the extended capabilities on both platforms. And fedi integration makes it so anyone can use anything.
Of course.
Yep I was a very early developer (software developer) on the platform back in the day. Facebook and Google both stole a lot of what diaspora did with communities/circles and UI. I have not been on it for a very long time. I should take another look.
I want it so bad. I love Firefox but it is fairly slow on my cell. And caching would be a dream.
Just fyi if you like it, you should donate. The project looks very much like a passion project.
Piefed seems to work well but yeah Lemmy still struggles unless the instances have people actively following both at the same time. Kinda confusing unfortunately.
Yeah it can be that easy. Pixelfed.social is the big one.
Or you can go with one of the others to share the load.
I personally spun my own instance up just to try it out a couple of days ago. It’s neart and very perforant.
On the plus side pixelfed seems to be popping off. And every time one of the big companies f up, we get a slow trickle of new users. Which is much more sustainable in the long run.
Anyone have the text for this one? It’s behind a paywall ironically.
I’m doing my part!
