I mean thats the thing with any word. If someone tells you their uncomfortable with the useage of it ill either stop using that word around them or remove myself from the conversarion. Theres no reason to ever redirect a racist phrase into something positive and completely seperated from its racist past, dispite the community at large already doing that. Words cannot change or evolve, and any word with even an inkling of negativity should be banned from ever being spoken (/s). I specifically called out that rice can be used in a racist and as a borderline slur, but that the modern useage of the word is painfully obviously removed from that connotation: considering the massive amount of people under this post also claiming they have never used, or even knew, the word could at all relate to degrading asians.

The modern use of the word spoke about a car that looked like a racecar but didn’t have the preformance of one, making it “ugly”, and then branched to become a positive term when talking about putting lots of efforts into the aesthetic of something

Hospitals are only required to give you life saving medical attention, nothing more, which I already referenced twice. And your not simply allowed to go “thanks for putting my arm back on, bye!” If you refuse to tell the hospital who you are after the fact they can and will call the police since your attempting fraud (refusing to pay), if you provide a false ID (name and address etc) then whoever is handling the billing will call the police for fraud

The only thing hospitals aren’t gonna do is share your medical information with 3rd parties due to HIPPA, they themselves are still gonna collect it tho

Theoretically this is possible to do if you’ve avoided any documentation your entire life, or more likely, the hospital staff just dont care enough and forget to find out who you really are before letting you leave.

But realistically the hospital is going to have the cops come in and do a background check on you before even letting you get further care after lifesaving measures. And if you dont give up your information then your most likely getting ICE called on your ass…

I was just asking what purpose LLMs server compares to just using a specilized diffrent AI since you said their still useful. LLMs need massive databases and energy costs and even then routinely output gibberish so progress to society do they lend?
