This reminded me of the time I came back to work after being off for 2 days and immediately noticed someone had touched my desk. Nothing was missing and I couldn’t even say how I knew but things were just “off”. It turned out the trainer was showing some new hires how a device I was testing worked which is fine because I was the only one in our office that had one but I was fairly pissed for a bit until I found out.

That was my first thought as well.

Several of my ex’s were very into that.

At least when I’m quiet there’s a moderate chance of people thinking I’m interesting. Most of the women I’ve been involved with first noticed me because I was the quiet one in the group. Never had any luck at all being chatty.

I love Adam Savage’s videos. I don’t really care about the Mythbusters stuff but when he deep dives into why he likes particular tools or objects and goes into great detail it makes me feel seen. I do that with people in my life and nobody ever seems to understand. Then people wonder why I’m so quiet all the time.

Funny you say that. I never touch media player because vlc exists but on my work pc I tried to play a video file someone sent me from their iPhone and it defaulted to media player which promptly demanded I pay 4$ for a codec. I just closed it and opened the video in vlc instead. I could understand not including codecs for some weird formats but it was a fucking iPhone video.

Windows asked me what app I wanted to open a .jpeg with last week… Just fucking pick one, it’s a jpeg.

I have dreams where I end up shirtless (or worse) at various places I’ve worked in the past pretty often. I don’t think being naked in public would even really bother me anymore because of that. Other than the criminal charges of course.

I understand a lot of shit now. It didn’t make me feel better.

I had to have the “It’s just a difference of opinion” conversation for the probably 12th time yesterday. I’m so fucking tired of it.

It’s not just a different opinion when you’re supporting a rapist bigot who wants to allow corporations to destroy the environment and harm LGBT people and countless other shitty things. All he does is spout hate. That’s what you’re supporting. Fuck you.

It’s better this way. Reddit went to shit when it started getting media attention.

I guess I just don’t get the hit of pleasure from it. I feel like I’m just getting into whatever it is and then it blue-balls me.

Most of those things are facilitated via US social media as well.

Those laws should cover every social media site though. Not just the foreign ones. If they’re going to ban tik-tok they should ban the rest too. I’m not in favor of this but the double standard is fucking stupid.
