No ads for me since I paid to remove them. Well worth the investment.

Yeah I’m waiting for it to go back down to $40. I’m in no rush haha.
I’ve been hearing good reviews about the Onn Pro box by Walmart (of all companies, yes) if you’re in the US.
Comes with 32 GB storage and a USB 3 port to add storage to it.
The Wild Robot in theaters. Not a sequel or a remake. It is based off of a novel though.
2024 was apparently the first year where all the top-10 highest grossing movies were sequels. List doesn’t include Moana 2 and Gladiator 2 which are expected to make a lot of money as well.
Wouldn’t it be correct just once a day if it’s military time? 00:00 would only be 12:00 AM. Noon would just be 12:00.
Women are so cute and cute and cute [goes on and on]
I’m in this photo and I don’t like it
I’m not sure if mods are a proper criteria when it comes to comparing Lemmy and Reddit. The audience is mostly the same and Lemmy doesn’t automatically make people/mods better or worse.
Also, you forgot one major point: API! I get to use and support my third party app of choice Sync here on Lemmy which was killed off by Reddit.
The Sense 2 and Versa 4 never got third party app support in the first place.
They accidentally uploaded a third party app “WellnessBuddy” to the Fitbit store once and I downloaded it on my Sense 2. Works perfectly fine. They never bothered expanding support.

“Taking you somewhere” is far too much effort. They can just watch you enter your passcode on your phone in a bar, then swipe your phone from you and gain access to all your accounts.
I’ve been making a post daily in !nytconnections@lemmy.world and !crossword@lemmy.world for 4 months now. Whatever small community we have there, I’m grateful for it. We’re also happy to accommodate many more people and grow.
If there isn’t a community for something you care about, make one. People will come.
In the US, OnePlus Open is a recent phone I can think of with an IR blaster, but that’s a $1700 phone.
Got pinged by the spammer earlier today on Mastodon. Nothing on Lemmy yet.
