The metaverse is silicon valley’s attempt to force mass adoption from the top down but tech has never worked like that. Mass adoption comes from the bottom up and selling a worthwhile product that makes peoples lives better. their only product is an aesthetic with a very limited niche at best.
The default communities even a decade ago were so much worse than the niche ones. I was unsubbed for a long time but the worst crowds and the worst posts were always on the defaults

I left back in 2018 because using it on a regular basis is like taking a chainsaw to your brain. I only keep my account in order to keep track of a handful of nsfw artists, and even a lot of them moved back to old Web 2.0 infrastructure

The native apps built into google TV. Prime Video and Paramount+ have been notoriously awful
Yeah. Personally outside of the desires stated above, It’s been a miracle if any of my google TV Apps work correctly.
Something like a Chromecast, but with a built in browser that can be loaded with ad blockers and local media libraries
