Hard to believe the epic thrash metal poster is a Mord fan.
It’s so good, but so hard. Here’s something that has helped me recently. I start a local Team Deathmatch, join red with a training sword, get into a corner next to a supply box, and then ` to get console and “AddBotsTeam 2 1”. It’s really helping me with my double parry/chain parry and keeping my vision processing more than 1 attack at a time. I’ll then give myself a real weapon and have 4 enemies at a time from the same place and just try to survive.
TIL, very helpful!
EDIT: Would be really helpful if I could filter out the 1 vote posts.
Until I looked at the comments here I thought this was the little box thingy that Shadowheart had in BG3.
Viewing this on my phone after just waking up, had to rub my eyes a few times and zoom in to realize it didn’t say “you are what you cat”.
I always liked the idea of Vancian magic when I played earlier editions, with the concept that part of the toll magic casing takes erases part of your memory, but functionally it was cumbersome. It was definitely time to move on to something more flexible.
Have a gander at the last 20 drinks here: https://untappd.com/PariahBrewingCompany
I literally walked into this place last year to check it out, saw what was on tap and had to turn around and walk out (the strong ale or witbier even wasn’t even there). It was IPAs all the way down.
I first got to try Sim Ant a lot later than release. I found that I could just fast forward (I don’t remember how, maybe on ZSNES emulator?), and the win rate without touching anything was at least 50%.
I’d love to see a remake that both allowed for little micromanaging and made your gameplay consequential. Perhaps if they player had a hand in programming the ants’ behavior. Maybe make an Visual Ant Language or something that looks like Scratch and as the game progresses you get more steps to drop in.
