Client side and opt in. I like browsing all and sorting by hot
I’m one of those people with an overkill setup.
Do you have experience with kubernetes or kubectl and DR or ASICs? Not everything should be a container or can do what an ASIC is built/designed for.
If I want a three node cluster for redundancy and speed I’ll need three baremetal machines. Or one hypervisor hosting 3 VMs that run my cluster nodes. I think there is a knowlege gap. Check out these links if you have more questions.

Also some things cannot run as a container due to having architectural differences. These are specifically designed chips for prototyping and software development.

Lastly we all have different needs for our home labs. I have to research new tech and processes for my job. It’s a lot of political overhead to get some stuff working on company hardware. I’m very lucky to have a good relationship with systems and storage so that I can buy older retired hardware to run at home. This is not everyone’s usecase and that’s fine.
I run a cluster of VMs that run kubernetes and manage those VMs with containers that run Terraform and ansible. Along with baremetal RISC-V workflows and ASICs.
A tool is a tool and one should pick what works for them.
How do you know @cm0002@lemmy.world is white?

Historically yes. Any transition of power is a dangerous time. There’s a history of communists factions and bad faith actors working with fascists in Italy to murder anarchists who were planning to kill Mussolini. However that’s not a conversation that’s necessary this very second. Stratification of power and the way in which it’s weilded is not lost on me. The problem with people that make bombs is sometimes the only cause they have is the one that necessitates bombings.
Are they doing this to support the organization of a politburo and a direct line of authority from a single charismatic leader at the top? Do they make apoligistic statements for human injustices and advocate for the expansion of borders through war?
Otherwise they’re just communists doing rad communist shit and you should labor to help them organize and shoulder their burdens.
I think there is a general misconception of communists especially here in the US and it’s been a problem in leftist circles for a while.
Unity above all else. Absolutely. However Tankie rhetoric in good faith or from an agent provocateur is something that needs to be addressed directly. Any power structure without egalitarian praxis is antithetical to the movement. Communism and Anarchism are very similar to the point where there are anarcho communists.
I want to make sure that there is space for us to figure out self governance immediately after the revolution. I don’t want to rely on a nascent “interim” government to hand it down to me.
I wouldn’t go that far. Billionaires want fewer regulations on taxes and monopolies. Trump and Kamala were going to allow the same profits for the oligarchs.
Democratic leadership didn’t want Trump elected. They don’t have the same levers of power with a Republican majority government.
Dem leadership however has been very disconnected from what the common voter experiences since Clinton. Obama and his grass roots efforts were too large to ignore. They made changes to the process during Obama’s second term to favor establishment candidates and representatives. Then made further changes in 2016/2020 during those primaries and didn’t hold primaries in 2024.
These led to low voter engagement as they didn’t talk about what the common voter was upset about. And during Biden’s presidency didn’t highlight Republican obstructionism nor did they do anything that would’ve lowered prices for Americans like medicare for all or breaking up grocery/pharmaceutical/agribusiness monopolies that were price gouging under the auspice of inflation.
This all led to Harris not being elected, not Trump being elected. This is however a pedantic distinction in a two party system.
Sanders in 2016 proved that only the Dem Party leader interests matter to the Dem Party.
In the global terms of political discourse the Democratic party is as of the most recent election now Center Right and the Republican party is Far Right. The Dems in the US, in recent history, started moving to the right with Clinton, arrived at the center with Obama and have now moved into the right with Biden/Harris/Walz.

I didn’t even think to look there! Thanks for being patient with me. I forget there is a whole fediverse you can link together.
Do you support Chinese or Russian imperialism? Do you think Uyghurs are being peacefully integrated into society? Do you think the Ukranian president is a Nazi? Was Assad forcefully ousted by Western powers for merely doing what is best for Syria? Does China have a right to control Taiwan and all territorial waters around Taiwan? Is North Korea the greatest and most transparent democracy?
The US is currently complicit in a genocide that BiBi and Trump are looking to expand. Australia is expanding and encouraging a genocide in Papua New Guinea for mineral rights on the islands. Germany is flirting with literal Nazis because of energy prices. The Entire West is overlooking slavery in Saudi Arabia for cheap oil.
If you make apologies for “Communist” imperialism and only decry Western imperialiasm you might be a tankie. That’s the general definition as I understand it. I’m happy to be corrected and learn more.
Can you define center-left in global terms and then in the context of US politics? There’s a very important distinction there that you are glossing over.
Yup. Mutual aid and mutual security are closely tied. Any top down heirarchal structure, no matter how temporary you’re told it will be, is against the interests of the workers/proletariat/commoner.
Communists worked closely with fascists in Italy to have anarchists killed when Mussolini was in power.

I’m sorry, I can’t find any /c/ comm you mod on your profile. So I can’t find your modlog. I also don’t see a reference to anything like what you’re saying on the first page your comments and I don’t feel comfortable digging deeper. Can you provide a link or point me in the right direction?
Where can I buy these in gross? There are liberal coffee shops and other rainbow washed places I need to put these up.
Thank you so much for your perspective on this.
