And knowing how batshit insane trump cultists can be and how she’s basically the single most hated person of his base I’m not surprised that she feared for her security.

That guy was tracking her plane for a long time but it only became an issue now when right wing people used it.

Also Wonder if he lost a word about the Kievan Rus’ which would give Ukraine a stronger claim on russian territory than what Russia claims for Ukraine belonging to it. Not that you should go there but that whole line of arguing doesn’t even work for itself

They don’t want it to work well. The worse the situation is for the average citizen the easier they are to be influenced by propaganda as most people tend to look for a strong leader in times of need.

A previous spokesman of the AfD is on record saying that “the worse the situation for Germany the better it is for the AfD”…

Doesn’t really work if one of the tribes is fundamentally about denying human rights to a specific group of people. Any compromise with that position is already accepting that position as viable. Also the right outright denies the problem of climate change all together - and therefore are not interested in any compromise about something they don’t believe exists, too.

The left and center parties can still work together but sadly the right has drifted too far away from what reasonable positions that you can compromise with are.

One of them wants things to stay the same allowing people to still believe nothing has to change and the other one tells people that change is inevitable and asks them to change their habits eventually to accommodate that change.

And it seems most people are enjoying being just ignorant of changing conditions as long as you can pin the blame for why things go wrong on someone else…

It’s just so stupid how climate activists gluing themselves to the street is hated by everyone and they are often locked away to keep them from disturbing traffic again and some people in the government are calling them terrorists and that you don’t negotiate with them, and then the farmers do the same thing only with tractors blocking traffic and everyone seems to be okay with that and the government even takes steps in their direction…
