“What if Chromium had its own fake money?”
“What if Chromium had its own fake money?”
Which is totally fine, in case you’re wondering. Speaking Spanish like a gringo is so much better than speaking English loudly and slowly and occasionally sneaking in a word like “cerveza” or saying “mi casa su casa” lol. It’s great that you’re making an effort to learn — y espero que el aprendizaje sea divertido! :)
“Firefish isn’t just a cool name”
Yeah, it’s also a generic name that isn’t very good?
If the rumor is true that OpenAI is using libgen to obtain books, then this will be a very interesting fight.
Authors profiteering from arcane copyright laws vs. a sleazy company that hypes up an LLM as if it were HAL from 2001. Who is worse? Who should lose?! I’m on the edge of my seat already!
Lol, twitter can’t even pay for their servers. They can’t afford a lawsuit!
They’ve just announced it! The new name is Microsoft Excel 365.
Oh, of course! Stealing content for clickbait in lieu of actually doing your job is the use case for twitter.
I think that falls into the “necessary for your job” exception. Even authors who don’t want to be in a pro-Nazi platform will be nagged into it by agents and publishers… at least for now. Maybe when Elon goes full alt-reich that’ll change.
Anyone still on Twitter (who doesn’t absolutely need to be on Twitter for their job) must either enjoy harassing others or somehow enjoy being harassed?
I have no clue why anyone who isn’t a right-wing dingbat would use Twitter for fun or whatever. It’s so not fun to be on a platform run by a little manbaby, for a little manbaby.
It looks nice I guess, but I like ligatures and I like narrow fonts (so you can fit your 80 columns into a smaller window), so I’ll personally remain a Iosevka slut for now. The idea of an accessible font for low-vision devs is great, though.
And kept all of “her” changes.
I’m from the future and I’d like to congratulate you on your prediction! It wasn’t exactly a long shot, but… yeah. You got it exactly right.
And an apology to Christian, the dev of Apollo, on the napkins that come with the milkshakes!
This is… really not true at all.
LLMs differ from humans in a very very important way when it comes to language: we know the meanings of the words we use. LLMs do not “know” things, are unconcerned with “meanings”, and thus cannot be said to be “using” words in any meaningful way.
