I think “For a minute or two” is a more apt answer.

Often when tenants lose keys to a deadbolt, a shady landlord or superintendent will say the knob lock is “good enough” to avoid paying to have the deadbolt replaced. Consequently, tenants might install their own deadbolts.

You might ask, why not just replace the existing lock!? Well, the super is going to call a locksmith to do that, and the locksmith can charge more for installing a new lock rather than replacing the old one. Plus, an extra lock when everyone’s is home for the evening == extra security.

That one and G Gordon Liddy. I especially liked in one of the later Liddy episodes where he said he doesn’t like doing more than 3 or 4 because it gets monotonous, but that Liddy’s life was so bonkers that he just couldn’t decide what to cut!

Add to this I read somewhere that she actually purchased more carbon credits than she would need for her tour to cover for unplanned travel - like to football games. Regardless of how some feel about the carbon credits, it’s more than nothing.
