Population decline due to low birth rates has never happened. Population declines have always been due to disease or war or something like that, taking the adults and leaving a young population behind. It’s not about a system, an aging population with low birth rates probably amounts to population collapse, but we are in uncharted territory and can’t know for sure how it plays out.
I agree with you, but you can’t just change the demographic makeup of any territory without some resistance from the native population. Push back is to be expected. You can tell Europeans “your people will go extinct without this”, the rational response would be to accept it, but people aren’t always rational.

One of the big problems with communism is that economic prosperity is framed fundamentally as a zero sum game. When that’s a foundational axiom of the system you build you wind up not building systems of growth, only of redistribution. It has rippling effects throughout the culture and the philosophy of a nation that attempts it.

I eat weeds. Wild weeds from the yard. For fun. They’re tasty. You should try it. Most of them are harmless and nutritious, shit, dandelions were an imported food crop from Europe. Double check what you’re eating first but they can be really good.
I didn’t blame them for not eating grass I said that you should know a thing or two about nutrition if you intend to, you know, survive. I don’t know about you, but if I was so poor I was living off of scones alone for 3 months, I’d be looking up wild food and learning about vitamin deficiency, and I’d be entirely willing to eat grass to prevent fucking scurvy.
So that sucks, but I just don’t see it being entirely about poverty in this case. There’s not a single neighbor of theirs who they could ask “hey, next time you drive to Walmart let me ride with you”? They hit their diet to save money? There’s no churches around them doing food pantry days?
Scurvy… You can prevent scurvy by eating literally anything uncooked, including meat. You can get vitamin C from grass. Sounds to me like these people are wholly uninterested in understanding anything about nutrition and diet and don’t talk to their neighbors at all.

It’s too expensive, sure. It should be half that. And some people live near a dollar store, I get that, they’re eating cat food and Vienna sausages. But this meme isn’t about those people. There are waaaay too many people complaining about the cost of groceries that won’t eat anything that doesn’t come out of a plastic package.

The problem with this is that the left is not the shining house on the hill anymore. You guys lost the fucking plot.
We aren’t talking about civil rights vs lynching anymore. You want me to pick between communism and fascism, and here’s the thing: I’m not a centrist. I’m an ideological extremist, I believe in individual liberty to an extreme. It’s not down the middle, its as far the fuck away from the both of you that I can get. The algorithms killed the platforms. They’ve become vapid, empty holes that only attract people addicted to them like junkies.
The internet can be fun, but you’re not going to find it on the platforms. You’re only going to find fun in places where people talk to each other. And even then, if you’re thin skinned you’re going to wind up in an outrage filled circlejerk. If you loosen up and go where the algorithms don’t exist you can have a good time.
