Since bread cannot be attached to language in any orientable way, you are right: It ain’t a sandwich, it’s a salad!
Same here. Maybe post it on feddit.de/c/blogging under a different account? :)

Continuing to maintain peace in the EU.
Worse harvests due to a major drought in the mediterranean. Olives and Trees now get stolen. Costs are also up, so it is a terrbile mixture.
Missed lots of opportunities for offense here:
Remember people: Most alternative browsers are chormium under the hood! Not Firefox though :)
Commie: Never thought I’d die fighting side by side with a Neo-Nazi.
Nazi: What about side by side with a temporary political ally to seize power?
Commie: Aye. I could do that.
Removal of all benefits of civilization to… own the libs?
Note to self: Become a bridge trader.
One thing I don’t get: How were people convinced that an entry in a blockchain somehow results in ownership. People understand ownership and its limits: They lock their bikes when they leave them somewhere, because if there is no enforcement you can lose property. The NFT scammers never mentioned enforcement once, yet somehow you “owned” some ape picture. How did that happen?
I don’t get it. One the one hand people who get behind this kind of article would jump at the change to tell women to “make them a sandwich”. Now that it’s happening… it’s a problem. Wat?
We saw the mass adoption of the internet, which before was mostly used by a small group of techies. Now we might be heading to a split: The mass walled garden and a separate smaller but free internet.
I think he tried knocking down the Ukrainian kid’s sandcastle and it did not go to well.
Who’s the kid that comes over an knocks down your sand castle?
Fully agreed. But harder to sell unfortunately :(
I guess this is supposed to be taken as a bleak joke but it won’t be over soon. We all will likely experience a direct hit to our quality of life. If you’re poor, your survival will get harder. If you have or want children they will have fundamentally worse lives, compared to what we experienced so far. This can go on for decades or centuries, depending on how much we can stsill fix and what tipping points occur.
So yeah, hope that is some motivation to change something. Or at least shout at some people. :)
This is great. It suddenly feels like the internet of 2003 again, with small communities popping up, competition and less of a corporate chokehold. Only this time they have a shared login and crosstalk, which was sorely lacking back then. If we are lucky this event might establish a stable, new part of the internet, which is separate from the consolidated platforms. The Fediverse doesn’t have to replace sites like reddit, just be a next step for people fed up with the corporate net (corponet?).
It’s not really your phone according to most big tech companies
