At no point were the Nazis close to winning. After the Soviets won the battle of Stalingrad in 1943 the Nazis were on full retreat until Berlin got captured.

Even leading up to up 1943, Germany had its oil nearly cut off. They became dependent on Romania for their supply. This may sound like a cartoon, but Nazis were dragging their tanks to the frontline using horses.

Germany simply did not have the industrial or logistic capacity to win WW2 at any point. The Nazis had already ransacked the German economy through privatization reforms and selling off anything that wasn’t nailed down. Invading Poland incurred a bunch of sanctions and embargos that resulted in Germany’s only primary oil trade coming from uhhh…the Soviet Union, so the Nazis had the brilliant idea of declaring war on their main source of gasoline.

The worst accusation you could make about China’s alleged warcrimes are how neutral they are in regards to Israel. They also sell guns to both sides of the Kashmir conflict, which isn’t great. They have sold guns to Israel in the past as commerce, but that’s a far cry from the west simply giving Israel weapons and intelligence for free.

Whereas the USA invades a new country on average every 1.5 years and has over 800 overseas military bases. China hasn’t had an active overseas military conflict since the Vietnam war. This isn’t a comparison at all.

Liberals also just plain ignore differences in domestic policy between Japan and China. For instance, China has legal, free, and widespread abortion that’s fully protected throughout the whole country. Japan’s abortion rights are terrible, and sometimes involve seeking permission from the pregnant person’s spouse, boyfriend, whatever. Abortion in Japan is only legal in instances of sexual assault or health complications, and even then it can be tricky.

Also, China’s still progressing on trans rights, but at the very least China’s building clinics for trans healthcare, and there’s at least some government protection. It’s not great, but it’s only showing signs it may get better.

Japan on trans rights? Up until OCTOBER OF THIS YEAR (2023) it was mandatory to get sterilized to change one’s gender on official documents. What the fuck. And that’s not even done yet, since the courts may end up ruling that one still needs gender reassignment surgery to change documents. Gender related healthcare is also completely unavailable to anyone under 18.

The supposed Xinjiang genocide is not regarded as a factual occurrence by half of the world, and the fiercest proponents of an existing genocide are what …the CIA? NATO leadership? The same countries that endorsed the Iraq War? That right there should be enough to raise eyebrows. The lack of meaningful eyewitness testimony or you know, photographs or records should be something else. In 30 seconds I can watch footage of Israeli soldiers commiting war crimes and the only Chinese equivalent videos 've seen look like fairly routine prisoner transfers. Which is not great, don’t get me wrong, but having prisoners or treating prisoners unfairly or with cruelty is not genocide, nor is it some unique quality for a socialist country to have, or countries in general.
