The two LPCAMMS required for this would require a lot more space.
I give them a pass on memory packaging (but not pricing). SSDs are indefensible though.

It happily uses epub and not proprietary formats.
The only downside to my Kobo is Amazon’s walled garden exclusive books being unavailable.
Oh not their phones. Their $1799 14” MacBook Pro.
Phones are coming with 12GB and Apple are still only putting 8Gb in their ‘pro’ line.

The PC market is shrinking. More and more of our general computing needs are being met by ARM based tablets, phones etc.
With all Macs now using ARM CPUs, Microsoft and Qualcomm making a very real ARM push and cloud compute companies pursuing ARM servers. Long term ARM dominance is looking more and more likely.

He stepped down as CEO six weeks ago. Hopefully the new one can bring some process maturity to LTT.
Luckily it’s Google. They’ll release it, half arse it for two years then cancel it without warning.
It’s utterly changed my opinion on web apps. It’s astonishingly good.
There’s not much room in the Mac Mini for additional LPCAMM modules, or the MacBook Air.
The SSDs Apple use lack a controller (that’s built into the M series SoC). That drives down Apple’s cost of materials but surely it wouldn’t be that hard to support a standard NVMe M.2 interface?
