As a Quebecquer with mild fantasies, I can relate. I, too, am a frog who wouldn’t mind it’s vanilla as long as I’m drowning in it.
If we agree on what the long term ideal outcome looks like but not on the best path to get there, no problem. If our ideal vision of the future differs so much that in yours, my ability or right to exist as myself is challenged or denied, then conversation becomes almost impossible, IMO.
