I wonder if they have filters, or if you get similar replies for search terms like “nuclear weapons”, “cocaine”, or “child porn”.

Well, it more depends on the overall spectrum - and a good sound designer. I’ve seen miracles done with air vents filtering out frequency ranges, but that’s some voodoo level stuff in my eyes.
According to the data sheet, it has 17400RPM, which is 290RPS, times 11 fan blades (if I counted correctly), so it would probably run with a 3190Hz sound. The noise is actually not that loud, given as 25dB(A) at 30cm.
While it is not overly loud, a proper case design that alleviates the annoying frequency by filtering it would be a good idea.
That joke didn’t fly, either.
I think you might’ve misunderstood what a WebView is.
I don’t think so. It’s a box displaying HTML. If it depends solely on Edge being present and installed - this is a bug (of the WebView implementation). If it could be based on any browser, but the user puts Edge-specific non-standard HTML in it, it’s a bug, too (this time by the HTML provider).
You have not seen a Linux in what, 20 years now?
Well, they are no longer allowed to milk victims in the EU thanks to good laws. That does not mean they cannot exploit those who are not protected.
For example, different programs’ WebViews depend on Edge nowadays
I.e. the programmer could not care less about adherence to standards. Or, in other words: The software is buggy.
The real answer to “Don’t tread on me!” people is: “Real Americans just shoot the damn rattlers!”.
In the EU, they would tar & feather the automakers for even thinking about such an idea.
I have been to a Walmart in Germany back then, out of sheer curiosity. Let me tell you, it was definitely not just the price that was the problem. The whole shop screamed “We were to lazy to even think about German shoppers being different from American ones”.
The Endlösung of the Palestinian question.
Not all of us do.
If you have a fitness tracker - no problems with that. Needs a recharge after two or three weeks, which is not perfect, but still better than those “smart” watches that you have to feed daily.
Personally I have a Garmin Fenix for the 3 week battery life
Now that is a totally different beast than an Apple watch that has to be recharged daily.
Just like watches can be more than just watches.
Yes. Like needing to be recharged every night, and being obsolete after a handful of years.
It had been from day one, just in case no-one noticed.
The very idea of a “watch” that has a bunch of gimmics while completely fail the main job of providing the time over a long time without any hassle shows how absurd this product was from the very beginning.
A good automatic, mechanical watch is way superior on that behalf. As a bonus, it looks better. And you don’t have to press a button to actually see the time.
If reading the ingredients list of most vegetarian/vegan processed foods don’t make you sick, you are blessed with lack of knowledge…
I can understand that people for environmental and ethical reasons don’t want to eat meat. What I cannot understand, though, is that they then stuff their faces with super highly processed foods instead of cooking good vegetarian/vegan dishes. There are very good and tasty vegetarian and vegan recipes, but instead a lot of them stay with their old meal plan of potatoes in any form, overcooked vegetables and a “steak” (or whatever) made from wheat structurates, palm oil, binders, emulgators, stabilizers, artificial flavors, preservatives and food coloring agents.
They can only hope that some of them are not smart enough to understand this “Twitter is now X” stuff and get confused. Or misunderstand it as some kind of “democrat plot” against their “freedumb”.
