The idea of there being an ATM version of you that likes to look at big black cocks first thing in the morning gives me a chuckle.

I was born in 96 when my mom was 19. I remember sometime in middle to early high school looking up the generation year cut offs and thinking it was wild my mom and i were considered the same generation; her being the start of the generation and me being the end.

Obviously thats no longer the case with current generation year cutoffs, but im now starting to see 96 included as the first year of gen Z which feels…wierd. I definitely dont connect with people of gen Z easily because it feels like…well…a different generation, but at the same time I feel a disconnect with other, older, millenials because they tend to remember the 90s more than myself. Im not sure about anyone else, but being born in 96 feels like being stuck between two generations that you partially relate to, but not really.

My husband and I agreed on the rule that he gets one borat “my wife” a month after he abused the fuck out of it for a week straight. About 5 days into the month, every month, he remembers his allotment reset back to 1 and says it. Never fails to get an eye roll and a chuckle out of me.

As an Americam who was subjected to the pledge in highschool, I thought the same and refused to stand for it starting in middle school. The school cant force you to do the pledge of allegiance, but they dont exactly tell students…or teachers.

Every school year id run into a teacher who took sitting during the pledge to be the same as taking a dump on the flag and send me to the front office only for them to send me right back to class because im within my rights to sit. One teacher in particular angrily “lectured” me, a 16 year old, about how her husband served over seas and me sitting is the same as telling him to get fucked more or less. By my junior year the office staff started making excuses as to why i needed to stand like “teachers check dress code during the pledge” or “they check attendance”, but I continued to sit anyway since these excuses were always bullshit.

This isnt entirely related, but your comment made me think about the time I went into CVS to buy multivitamins and noticed all of the “men’s” included a picture of an orange while the “women’s” did not. All the other fruit pictured were the same between the two, but not oranges.

From my experience all of mens clothes have higher durability. I could just be buying shitty clothes, but ill have ripped stitches and fallen buttons a week after purchase while my husband is still sporting the same 15 year old wardrobe with minimal damage. My shirts are so thin i can see clear through them and would need to layer 3 to match my husband’s shirts. I dont purchase them off amazon/temu/etc, but it feels like that’s where they came from most of time.

Here in Ohio there are many districts that have been in school for 2 weeks now. Districts have been pushing their start date back for years.
