The police in my country use a device to break into phones and sometimes there’s a leak of which phones and OSes have the loopholes that the device takes advantage of. Idk if I’m explaining it well sorry. But the situation changes frequently because sometimes new loopholes are found and sometimes google or apple fix the bug that causes the loophole. Those lists only mention android and iOS versions thus with another OS you wouldn’t know if it has a similar bug or not.
So I know there’s lists out there about which OSes can easily be broken into and which are safer, and those usually only mention IOS and Andriod. This would make me wary of trying different OSes because there’s less info on how safe they are. I don’t know anything though I hate technology but I’m forced to learn for privacy and at very early stage of that.

I get the idea of the meme but have friends in Gaza who regret that they weren’t one of the hundreds of thousands of people who were killed, because the people who are still alive have been going through worse than hell. It just feels tasteless to make light of all that suffering with jokes like this.

That’s irrelevant. If a nonjewish person draws a antisemitic caricature of Netanyahu it’s still racist and offensive to all jewish people.
Nowhere did I state that. In the context that white people have a history of dehumanising Chinese people through yellow caricatures it is pretty suspect that white people are jumping at the chance to joke about a Chinese person looking like a yellow bear, often while they repeat US state propaganda about China.

The meme, as used by westerners, is a racist caricature regardless of its origin. Jewish people also used to make caricatures about themselves as inside joke, nazi’s appropriating those caricatures was and is still racist regardless of the origin of the caricatures.
Gender is a social construct and ‘biological gender’ doesn’t exist in the way that the phrase is frequently used.

Also I’ll repeat my request for removing ‘no tankie behavior’ because ‘tankie’ has no consensus definition which makes it a divisive term. In this community I’ve seen several people describe all Marxist Leninists as ‘tankies’. I strongly dislike sectarianism and I would like ML’s to feel welcome here. Any posts that are harmful to the community should just be moderated on the basis of its harm.
