Now that we have a six week abortion ban, with abortion on the ballot as a state constitutional amendment, and one for legalized recreational marijuana, there is a very significant chance for Florida to be in play.

Many people here are very upset with the state of insurance, especially homeowners. The Biden campaign just came out and said they will be targeting Florida to flip it.

Every vote will count, remember a few thousand votes gave us Rick Scott, we have a chance to remove him as well. There’s a lot at stake this year.

I never liked Twitter to begin with, once it became an unabashed environment for hate it was a piece of cake to close my account.

It’s Nissans in general! I swear they must be one of the highest hp/dollar cars on the road or something for economy cars, and everyone drives them like they stole them!

I’m on it and do have a sub, but it’s for someone unrelated to YT content. If I find a channel I can’t live without I’ll consider it but I have super ADD taste on subject matter.

I believe someone else mentioned 55% of premium revenue goes to creators. That is a fairly significant share, plus the cost of hosting content and maintaining the appliances etc etc. It seems reasonable to me for less than $5 per person per month.

Best deal is YT premium family, I have 5 or 6 people on it with no commercials on YT and YT music which is great for our use cases as well. Yes it’s like $25 a month, but everyone that uses it loves it!

I consume a lot of YT, for “How it’s made” and project shows there really isn’t anything remotely comparable. No ads and FF through sponsored content is awesome.

It’s not so much about filling it up, but when someone goes to eventually renovate the place lol. Open the drywall and just have a bunch of blades to clean up… Or if you get a leak and have to now deal with a puddle of rusty blades.

I want to say that possibly one of the medicine cabinets had a smaller container that collected them at some point, but again, it was still fixed behind the wall lol.

Multiple homes I’ve lived in have had these slots in the medicine cabinets lol.

Did they anticipate people not living long enough to care? Or that some biome would form to use the blades as food?

Interesting decisions all around.

I do my best to conserve, I have a 10 year old car I keep up and try not to purchase frivolous items, but everything is from hygiene products to food comes in single use plastics…

Look, any progress being made about environmental awareness is great, HOWEVER; this bullshit concept of offloading the responsibility of climate change strictly to the consumer is never going to fix the problem.

The people responsible for the largest amount of climate change are the insatiably wealthy that give absolutely no fucks about how much their mega corp ruins the planet.

I don’t know how the rest of the world feels, but here in the U.S., it’s basically impossible to buy anything that doesn’t come packaged in single use plastics, and half our population has been brainwashed to believe climate change is not even a concerning issue.

The companies that profit from blowing everything up should be responsible for cleaning everything up. I do my best to reduce, reuse and recycle, but my city doesn’t even recycle plastic bags because it clogs the machines, and everything comes in damn plastic bags. Putting solar on your house now comes with a high possibility of having your insurance policy canceled, etc, it’s literally one barrier after another, and my carbon footprint is pretty damn low.

Sorry for my rant, it is just very frustrating.

And here I am… I’ve never even tried it.
