How would I know? I didn’t make the post. What if they based it off of a very specific day where a lot of people got shot?
Oh, yes, 1 in 400 is still the wrong proportion, but I guess you can’t say a quarter of a person is shot every 8 months or whatever it would be, if you’re just trying to make a quick and concise point.
Shot doesn’t mean dead and one person can receive multiple gunshot wounds in a year.
How did you get that from that? You said it sucks for entertainment, I said it doesn’t and you get from that that I can’t fathom not being on YouTube 24/7?
That sounds like a you problem, honestly. Tons of great channels out there for basically any interest. Do you just, like, only ever look at the front page without logging in? Like just at the absolute lowest common denominator clickbait stuff?
Infomercials are incredibly entertaining TV and I will stand by that statement
Somewhere in the George W Bush?
Hugo One has a novelty run of San Andreas (novelty meaning it’s modded, e.g. Chaos Mod, Randomizer, and non-competitive because it’s not an actual category) that’s almost 70 hours long
Maybe “more powerful” would be the better term
The PS3 actually ended up outselling the 360 slightly. Like, very slightly. Couple 100k units or so. It’s probably the most balanced console generation in terms of sales.
Then Microsoft launched the Xbox One and Sony wiped the floor with them.
Honestly, if Sony just only added half as much shit to the PS3, like skip all those card readers god damn, they probably could’ve gotten away with being slightly more expensive than the 360. I mean, the 360 on launch didn’t have an HDMI port, didn’t have WiFi, none of the 360s come with a Blu-ray player (when movies just started being sold on Blu-ray and being a DVD player was one of the reasons the PS2 sold so damn well), you had to pay for multiplayer (I think that was in at launch, right?) and the console itself just kept bricking. Like, on a consumer side technical level, the only thing it had going for it was the controller. But, give it a year headstart and make it cheaper than the competition and that shit stops mattering for quite a while.
Aye, the one I’m renting from is a local company. You find lots of them all over Germany, managing the huge apartment buildings, especially the old soviet concrete blocks. Outside of places like Berlin they’re usually reasonable.
I’m somewhat “glad” I’m not renting a place owned by some rich chucklefuck, but one owned by a company. I know, sounds weird, but at least my rent money is going to something useful, since they employ their electricians, plumbers etc., hire a cleaning firm to clean the stairwell, and have a website where I can report problems, look at my energy consumption, stuff like that.
Because I have 200 bucks to my name

Not in baseball
Well, Batman was trained by the League of Assassins.
But he spends a fuckton of his money to change things, though?
Pretty sure it’s even a point in the comics that he hires a bunch of ex-cons and stuff specifically so they don’t have to resort to a life of crime again.
I’m a massive introvert, yet outside of IKEA I avoid self checkout like the plague. (Okay, I’ll do self checkout if I’m just buying a snack and a drink or something) I just find that saying “Hello” and “Bye” to a cashier is much less bothersome than the potential of needing help when the SCO eventually breaks.
Oh no. They gave the task of remastering 3 big games running on old ass software full of hacked together code, within like 2-3 years, to a tiny studio of like 20 people that only ever made mobile games before. It was set up to fail. It’s like asking your crackhead cousin to redo your bathroom and you come home to find he’s ripped out all the copper pipes for beer money.
At least they’ve seen to have learned their lesson. The much smaller task of doing a basic port for RDR1 for Playstation and Switch was given to an actually decent sized development studio (Double Eleven). Lot of people got mad it wasn’t a remaster or something, but it is a perfectly fine port and you get the full RDR1 experience on a Switch
