No, they don’t know buddy, ha. It’s meant to be a non-serious rule for a non-serious community.
I remodelled my baby’s mobile for exactly this reason. Seemed stupid to have the animals face up when baby is underneath, so I turned them round and made them detachable so baby could pull them off and play with them too.
What do you mean at this point?! It’s been malware for almost two decades!

I say this as someone that had my first child at 23, after talking about it with my girlfriend since the age of 19.
We don’t regret a thing. (Well, apart from not winning the lottery. Yet.)
I mean, it’s only embarrassing for them - if they want to be loud, proud, and wrong that’s okay.
But at the same time, they may well set the trend for how it’s pronounced in the future.

Eh, I prefer the descriptivist method of language. It’s how language evolves over time.
Comparing it to a personal name is a false equivalence. GIF is an acronym, people could enunciate each letter if they so preferred and it would be more accurate/true to creation than even the creator’s opinion of how to pronounce it.
People seem super triggered by the oil memes.

I am not sure how to feel about this.
On one hand, it seems awfully petty in one sense when our ecological fate rests on going green as fast as possible.
On the other, I absolutely appreciate the importance of not letting domestic production get completely swamped by foreign markets.
