The only way that the ratio can change in the buyers favour is if suddenly an ungodly number of people die for some reason or the general population’s finances collapse to the point where they are no longer trying to buy a house. I think it was because there were a few high profile let-downs, like Kerbal Space Program 2, Cities Skylines 2, Starfield etc. Even Zelda, which was eagerly anticipated, was only OK and interest fizzled out quite quickly.
