Bandlimiting isn’t just used in “AI”. It is a basic term for either chopping or smoothing out any signal.

I think of shaders, because currently that’s by hobby project. But basically whenever you have a lot on unwanted noise, not a lot of information and need to be quick, bandlimiting comes to the rescue.

Basically genAI images are weirdly smooth, because there are limited ways to quickly process a output to keep the network from exacerbating noise artifacts in the next step. That’s why practically all genAI images (but especially the earlyer ones) have this uncanny smooth look to them. That’s why LLMs struggle so much to procede in a story, despite have a shit load of flowery language to describe everything.

You can see that this isn’t AI generated, because of the physical coherence, the lack of bandlimiting, the small thingy to push the little light switch being an the right place, the reasonable arragement of shelves and the perfect amount of eggs every fridge should have.

  • Basically, the pan must be hot but not too hot.

It sounds kinda stupid, but before I got used to my current pans, I always had to add a small drop of water to check whether I could start. As soon as the water began to boil, the pan was hot enough to cook (but wouldn’t just burn everything into a crisp).

In theory, it’s really, really simple, but to be able to intuit the pans temperature, really felt like a boss move… for the first few times, until it just became second nature. I had to scrape off more than one egg before it clicked.

  • Its manufacturing requires relatively large quantities of highly toxic and also very resistant chemicals. This means that when they enter the environment (and they will), they will poison it for a very long time, with consequences that are not yet fully understood.

In addition, it decomposes when heated above 260°C and can detach from the pan and get into your food. Keep in mind that almost all oils start to smoke well before reaching this temperature, so you should be able to tell when you’ve just ruined your pan.

In my opinion: hot stainless steel and a little butter will prevent food from sticking. This requires a (easy to learn, but still) technique, but once you got it, you can enjoy your stainless steel pan for basically forever.

*an AI describes part of a scene in a movie, badly.

And the title is something like “HE USES SUPERPOWERS TO SAVE HIS FRIEND #MOVIE #FILM #CINEMA #SHORTS”. Also, the name of the channel is any two word combination of: movie, cinema, star, summary, domain or reels. And each upload is either 15 to 25 minutes or a short and the channel uploads something every day.

It’s amazing that the faster Ethernet gets and the more powerful network devices become, the fewer things we can do.

Why wouldn’t just about everyone get the ability to print on the device whose sole purpose is to print things? If everything is set up right, you can even set per-user policies so Jarrett doesn’t waste ink printing 50 AI pictures of kittens to hang in his soulless office cubicle.

  • What if I can alternate between both?

Edit: I’ve looked at it a bit more:

    • I can make the black circles into “windows” that show a red circle behind a white wall.

    • I can also overlay the red circle as a mask in front of the black parts, so that only the black parts make the red circle visible (like in a shader program or when masking parts of an image in a photo editor).

    • Then I can also envision a red hue along the white parts of the image that follows the silhouette of the red circle.

    • And then I can “deactivate” the silhouette again, so that the red parts are simply drawn on top of the black circles, with no relation to each other.

I think this is just a test to see if you have experienced a certain effect before.
