Zionism goes against the actual teachings of Judaism, it’s very revisionist. Jewish opposition to Israel is as old as Zionism itself. Hasidic Jewish people, while small in number, are still the largest Anti-zionist group in Israel. Jewish people have been at the forefront of Anti-zionist activism for a long time, including Jewish Voice for Peace. Palestinians too of course.
Zionism uses Judaism as a shield, deflecting criticism against it’s fascist actions as anti-semitic, which in-turn raises the amount of genuine anti-semitism experienced by Jewish people worldwide, due to that false conflation of Judaism and Zionism. That’s why it’s critical to detangle that false conflation.
Zionism comes from the same roots of other-izing Jewish people as seen in white supremacy, that’s exactly why it’s been supported by white supremacist since the beginning to present day. For white supremacists, Jewish people are inherently different and need to go back to ‘where they came from’ in the middle east. Christian Zionists, who far outnumber Jewish Zionists, want to trigger the end-times which will kill every ‘nonbeliever’ with the holy war.
Adi Callai, in his video Anti-Semitism, Weaponized, does a phenomenal analysis the history of antisemitism and how Zionism fits into that picture. He has another on the Gaza Ghetto Uprising and on Franz Fanon which are also just as relevant to the current situation in Palestine as well.

On 26 January 2024, the ICJ said that it was plausible that Israel had breached the Genocide Convention. As an emergency measure, it ordered Israel ensure that its army refrained from genocidal acts against Palestinians.

Killing is a hyperbole, like Eat the Rich, unless the capitalist class declares militant war on the workers and leaves no other choice but armed resistance. Incarceration is a perfectly acceptable punishment and rehabilitation is the correct way to reintegrate criminals back into Society.

Let’s not pretend that Trump’s plan to forcibly remove all Palestinians from Gaza isn’t a revival of the same plan put forth by Biden behind closed doors.
But in a statement Thursday, the Egyptian government rejected efforts to move Palestinians from Gaza as a “blatant violation” of international law that could undercut ceasefire talks and threaten Middle East relations.
A Western diplomat in Cairo, also speaking anonymously because the discussions have not been made public, confirmed receiving Egypt’s message of its strong opposition through multiple channels. The diplomat said Egypt was very serious and viewed the plan as a threat to its national security.
The diplomat said Egypt rejected similar proposals from the Biden administration and European countries early in the war, which was sparked by Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack into southern Israel. The only obligation the US has, under the Leahy Law and International Law, is to cease weapons transfers to Israel for violating human rights and perpetrating crimes against humanity.
Biden is a self proclaimed Zionist, he absolutely supported this genocide, both materially, diplomatically, and ideologically.

You realize the people protesting don’t post on social media because governments are falsely smearing and criminalizing them as antisemitic and pro-terrorism, right? All the support for Palestine is grassroots, it’s in complete opposition to global capitalism
If you do want to join, make sure to wear all black, have a mask,
keep your location services off on your way to/at/from the protestNo Phones (see reply below), and be able to hide anything the police could use to spot you (like a keffiyeh) when the protest is over. But that’s just my opinion. Considering your families position, not going is completely understandable, plus there are other ways to support the movement if you wanted to besides joining a protest.

6·5 months agoAnti-zionism is not Antisemitism. Zionism is not Judaism nor is it representative of Jewish people. Your conflation of the two is genuinely antisemitic.
Zionism is anti-Semitic at it’s core, it other-izes Jewish people, and justifies the violent settler colonialim of Israel as in the defense of all Jewish people, which only serves to further fuel genuine Antisemitism at the expense of Jewish people globally. Zionism is also an inherently fascist ideology. The ethnic cleansing of the native people of Palestine has always been fundamental since it’s inception as a colonialist movement. Adi Callai, an Israeli, does a great analysis of how Antisemitism has been weaponized by Zionism during its history.
No reliable way against Supersonic missiles, the systems they have against the ballistic missiles are paid for by the US (taxpayers) which only emboldens Israel’s aggressive actions in the region
