  • My grandma (who lived about a 12 hr. way) had one of these growing up and I always loved it. I was disappointed one year to find that it had been replaced since it quit working.

I’m also reminded of my mother who, no joke, brought one of these home from the landfill. It didn’t work, but she gutted it and turned it into a bed for our little dog we had at the time. In hindsight, she’s probably very lucky she didn’t hurt or poison herself in the process.

I would love to get one of these to use in like a multi-purpose gaming setup. Like use this as the TV stand for the newer TV so I can play newer and older games in the same place.

  • There was some significant flooding in my area several years ago and a lakeside house a few miles from my hometown ended up being lifted off it’s foundation and carried into the lake. The owners, even though they lived next to a lake, did not have flood insurance. So the house sat there for a long while until it “mysteriously” burned down. It was interesting to me that it was left there as long as it was because this was a pretty nice area with a bunch of nice/expensive houses.

  • Once you get to like Neptune I think is when you unlock the first cinematic quest. It is kind of annoying that they haven’t gone back and done more “prequel” style quests so newer players can know what kind of story they’re getting into before such a long commitment.

They did just recently release a very short quest that unlocks at the beginning of the game but it ended up being a little underwhelming.

Also, depending on when you were playing those quests might not have existed yet. Iirc The Second Dream, which was the first “cinematic” quest came out in 2015
