I remember having a lesson in middle school on how to use a phone book. The information came in handy quite a few times once I hit a job but I think phone books started dying out in the mid 2000s.
Make sure you chug some oil so the popcorn actually pops and doesnt burn
I like the original chicken sandwich from Burger King but I don’t go there often because it’s slow.
I think eating Burger King at all is pretty much the downgrade.
I was on a lay over and was lined up ready to board and they cancelled the flight. Was told to go to customer service to find another flight. Conveniently two other flights were canceled around the same time so they were over 900 people in the customer service line. After waiting about 45 minutes in line and moving about 20 spots forward and asking multiple airline employees that had no idea what was going on. I get a text message that my flight had been rebooked to a flight that had been delayed earlier in the day and it has finally showed up but it’s leaving in 15 minutes and it’s in a different terminal. I booked it over there and made the flight. Anyway, it was a mess. Extremely unorganized, handled terribly and it was just an all around piss poor experience. Did I get compensation for the inconvenience and time wasted? Of course not. Airline are allowed to charge hundreds of dollars and fuck things up without consequences.
I don’t need 36 cables that I’ll never use. I have a charger and cable in my living room, kitchen, bedroom, office, basement, and car. Those cables will charge almost every electronic device I own, 8 of them currently within eyesight.
I understand that, but I’ve had USB C devices for almost a decade. I only buy full featured cables so it hasn’t been an issue, at least for me. Any time a device comes with a cable it goes into the trash.
It’s not the cables that are the issue, it’s the manufacturer that don’t design their products to USB C specification so they don’t charge via C to C cable like it should.
Once I found 7zip, WinRAR was obsolete. Lately though I’ve just been using the built in extractor in Linux because it works just fine.
I feel like people are getting a little too up in arms for something that hasn’t even happened yet. If it ends up happening, so be it. Let the market decide. There are many of us who will just stop eating at Wendy’s but let’s face it, the general population will not.
Cards are the biggest waste of money. Any time I get one in the mail, I’ll read it and it goes straight to the recycling.
Just think about all the people that made a stink over bud light. Most of those people went back to drinking it.
Google TV has an app. I ditched Roku a long time ago.
Lol ads. Not for years. I honestly don’t know how people do it. Maybe they are just used to it but last time I tried to use the Internet without an ad blocker I wanted to throw my computer across that room. It’s ridiculous how bad it is.
The unfortunate thing is that children are brainwashed at a young age. When they get older it’s all they know, and if they question it they’ll go to hell. Everyone wants to be free but so many people are a slave to religion and they aren’t even aware.
I had YouTube when it was YouTube red and I was a part of a family plan with my friend for a couple years. I split the family plan with a few people and ended up paying $3 a month. Eventually he moved across country and YouTube said that since we didn’t have the same IP address that I could not be a part of the family plan so I ended up signing up for my own account. At some point I was trying to pay off my debt so I cancelled all my subscription services. YouTube premium included. I started watching YouTube and then I saw it. An ad. Something I hadn’t seen in years. It was the most annoying thing ever. I couldn’t believe that people put up with that. I was so annoyed by the ads that I looked at how to obtain YouTube and YouTube music for free without ads because I needed to save the money and the ads were so intrusive that this was what I was going to do and that is what I still do to this day.
I worked retail for a decade and we would get checks time to time. Mostly always the elderly.
Why would I spend the time and money on a vacation just to waste it on being lazy? I can do that at home. On vacation I’m up before sunrise, take a shower, and grab breakfast before I start my itinerary for the day.
