My library gives us free access to Chilton online. It’s not the best for everything, but all of the information comes from the factory service manual. Plus you can find a lot of information online. You just have to learn what to look for.

I just bought a domain name yesterday with plans to create an instance for my local county. My killer idea is to have a comminity in the instsnce called “the good old days” where older folks can post their stories. I noticed that is a popular thing on facebook. The instance will not be federated as I don’t want anything but content which is relavent to the county. It should be somewhat self regulating given the topic limitations. I probably won’t even mention federation unless someone else wants to make an instance specific to a certain town or something. Just a way to filter out all the noise on facebook where people can see all tge different news outlets and events from accross the county without being filtered by fb et al.

It’s not a bank so they don’t have to follow banking rules. Historically businesses and sellers have had a hard tome with paypal locking their accounts and refusing to release them. They’ve put countless people out of business because of this.

If you’re going to be annoying about it, then people won’t like you. Imagine if you had a friend who used Arch Linux and that’s all that they talked about and then they said people who use Windows are literally Hitler and the second you say, hey maybe chill a little bit, they start screeching.

I suppose you could use targeted social media algorithms to target people within a certain area who are service workers who are more likely to see him. So they could theoretically manipulate people into better recognizing him.
