  • I think that’s even more so a problem these days for people getting into retro consoles because many of these discs are more than 30 years old, the disc drives too are getting up there in age. Many of them are starting to fail or become unreliable from dust and wearing out with age since the laser assembly is rather fragile.

It’s one of the reasons why ODE and SD loader mods have become popular lately, as well as Homebrew game loaders on the newer consoles which can support them (PS2, PS3, Wii, Wii U).

  • I have a nice Pikachu hoodie which said it’s for women on the site I ordered it from but I didn’t care because it’s cute and I liked it. The only thing that’s mildly annoying is having to think about the sizing difference (which I guess is kind of the point of the separate sizing numbers, just to be that extra bit of annoying for people who want it anyway).

  • As long as you buy the right size it shouldn’t be an issue, most clothing in standardized sizes aren’t much different between the genders besides the number being different (a men’s size S will be a women’s size M) so as long as you get the size right it’ll be fine.

Edit: Size comparison flipped the wrong way, fixed it.

It’s naturally meant for someone who is breastfeeding and contains nutrients which would be helpful in that process, though ultimately they are just food, for someone who isn’t breastfeeding the extra ingredients don’t have any effect (it’s not like they’ll cause lactation in males if that’s what you’re wondering).

  • That is a good point, a person who wears a dress isn’t necessarily a femboy. Some certainly are but plenty also aren’t. It wasn’t my intention to imply that wearing a dress makes someone a femboy and I can see how it enforces gender stereotypes to a deree. In the end a skirt or a dress is a piece of clothing, which inherently do not have gender and saying someone is a femboy for wearing those clothes isn’t great if the end goal is to break away and be free from these stereotypes.

  • I already know what you’re getting at but arguments in favor of breaking gender stereotypes aren’t made invalid if the person who originally made them ends up identifying as trans. I know that lots of people like to use situations like that as “evidence that people who break gender stereotypes are just trans-in-denial” and/or a justification for harassing GNC folks (r/egg_irl and r/traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns were especially awful about that back in their heyday) but it’s very important to recognize that GNC people are valid in their own right, and trying to generalize them as transgender is hurtful and enforces the toxic gender stereotypes that hurt people.

Oh and before someone tries to twist my words around. No a trans woman wearing a dress doesn’t enforce gender stereotypes, what enforces gender stereotypes is to say a person (i.e. a femboy) is trans because they wear a dress without their input on the matter.

  • That’s good, I’ve usually found the flat ones made with sheet metal are weaker and more bendable than ones made from steel wire, or just using the small sized paper clips. Which is problematic because I like to keep them in my bag in case I need to use them and if they end up bent up it’s not great.

I think the reason the ones I’ve gotten fared so poorly is because they’re aluminium as opposed to steel like the paper clips. Which always fair better in my bag than the flat stamped ones do.
