I’ll second the recommendation, Belle (the guy in that video is Beau who used to run the channel) does a great job. Also just really good coverage of current events.
I’ve had it happen too, I assume it’s because I’d fall asleep listening to stuff with headphones and jerk on it weirdly while sleeping

Regardless, here’s what I’d like to see out of the moderation here:

I fully agree with your points on moderation, but I think it’s important to add to #1 that no major decisions should be made by the mods, even if all of them are in agreement. They should be discussed with the community.

Semi-regular “ask the mods” post (or just one that’s stickied). Basically if anyone disagrees with or has questions about a mod action, they can comment there and the mods pledge to answer any question.

Jury nullification is actually legal, and has been upheld as a right of juries in multiple cases. The defense just can’t inform the jury about it.
Eh, it’s 1/3 of the trilogy, and the entirety of hitman 1 (2016), $3 is an insane value for that.
Still super scummy to break it out like that and try to trick people in.

My issue with 4b is we know it doesn’t work.

The 4b movement is like saying “the solution to racism is segregation”
On an interpersonal level, women absolutely should be wary of every man they come across, but that doesn’t mean a more extreme version of that works as a cultural movement.

That analogy would only work if the person who wanted to live on the farm just made the other person come with them. Breaking up and going their own separate ways is not at all analagous to rape.

I guess it would be an improvement, but it wouldn’t really solve the problem of knowing what you’re pressing.
I guess maybe you could have some light vibration with touch and trigger it with a harder press, but it really feels like we’re putting way more effort into just making worse buttons. I don’t see the tradeoffs being worth it without a lot of investment from both the phone maker and app makers
