Dr? Doctor.
Thirst? Unquenched.
Hotel? Trivago.
It’s like a South Park episode, except you couldn’t make this up. It’s beyond satire.
Sometimes I’ll just throw a baguette in the oven and bake it until it’s nice and crunchy and while it’s still hot I’ll break the top off and just start picking at it and eating it as a snack.
This person is enlightened. Bread is love, bread is life 🥖
Lawful evil here since I have a habit of writing down reminders for random things on a notepad file
Art theft is the antithesis of awesome.
“Are we in the ultra spicy spray business, or the nectar business?” - Jesse Pikmin
The way some people defend AI generated images reminds me of the way some people defend the act of tracing other people’s art without the artist’s permission and uploading it while claiming they made it.
Neither, since I’m a girl and everyone knows girls don’t poop.
9/10 ghosts recommend this house. The 1/10 said “boo”.
To be specific, the construction worker needs this many hearts to retrieve it: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
But not like this: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💛💛💛💛💛
The great bulldozer should warn him about this first!
In Spanish the e’s are pronounced the same way, and the same applies for German! It’s only in English that the e’s are all pronounced differently! English is such a weird language, I love it but it’s things like this which are hilarious to me.
I am now going to casually refer to all caffeinated beverages as “elixirs of wakefulness”
Theme: Cherenkov radiation
Is the same way, but with the Pikmin series
First it was anime people actually being cats, now this. My whole worldwiew is in shambles…
Yup! It’s so they can view what happens when these particles collide as the collisions happen, using specialized detectors. The ATLAS detector at CERN weighs 7,000 tons and is huge.
These reactions in the atmosphere happen very fast and are a bit chaotic. When a primary cosmic ray hits an atom in our atmosphere, it then sets off a chain reaction similar to billiard balls, resulting in “air showers”, which are cascades of subatomic particles, such as hadrons, photons, muons, electrons, as well as ionized nuclei. The colliders allow physicists to view these kinds of reactions under controlled conditions right as the reactions happen, and can adjust things such as the energies. There’s an array of detectors in Argentina which can detect the particles released by an air shower
Don’t worry! Though black holes may sound scary, microscopic black holes, the type that could hypothetically be produced by high-energy particle collisions such as this, would pretty much instantaneously (in approximately 10-27 seconds) evaporate due to the emission of Hawking radiation, before they could “suck up” anything. Cosmic rays of far higher intensities than what we could produce routinely collide with atoms in Earth’s atmosphere, so microscopic black holes could be happening daily in our atmosphere, we just never see them because they’re far too small and evaporate instantly.
Gosh darnit CERN not again! You messed up the peas! The peeasss!!
