The US should probably pass their lethal aid package if they want a seat at the table.
Yes. They are fucking nice aircraft. Particularly the B model which wipes the floor with every VTOL aircraft it replaces.
The EU has been investing there too.
Good luck actually getting Russian reinforcements and supply to Moldova. The sea, air, and land routes have Ukraine in the way. They aren’t going to let Russian troops freely move.
Is that the new lingo to try to downplay how many acid attacks occur in London?
Hiring people based on their skin color has no place in modern society.
Myself, I don’t. Being a landlord has quite a bit of risk from awful tenants as well as quite a bit of effort to make it work well. I have a job, don’t want another, and don’t want the additional risk; my investments are thus elsewhere.
You have abysmal credit from not paying your bills and can’t get a loan? That is certainly a benefit of renting, don’t need a loan.
You know what your tenant get for paying your mortgage? Jackshit.
If you are truly getting nothing by renting, buy a home instead. If you respond by saying ‘but I don’t want to, or can’t because of x’, that is what you are paying for as a renter.
Sometimes I wonder if the EU is designed to just waste money.
Good. Europe (and the world) is too tied to natural gas an an energy source. Nuclear has the nice ability to scale out without us having to wait for energy storage tech that is still long off.
France is doing one better here though and actually building out the plants. They are a huge energy exporter to Europe, particularly Germany as they were forced to quickly get themselves off Russian natural gas.
the PLC code actually contained logic that would lock up the train with bogus error codes after some date
I hope they sue the manufacturer.
Ukraine is doing better than all pre-war expectations. This isn’t a game and war is often slow. We must continue to support Ukraine, as the alternative is to prove to the dictators of the world they just need to wait for a few years and the west will get bored of helping those they wish to conquer.
Wood is renewable and literally grows without effort. Pretty darn good.
Gas and oil have much, much better energy density (by volume) which is a big deal for transportation uses. Pretty darn good.
Hydrogen is bested by other fuels in every category. It likes to leak directly through container walls, you can’t transport it economically, it has low energy density (by volume) even when you put it in a pressure vessel which is basically required to have any energy storage wroth speaking about, and on top of all that it is expensive to produce. Hydrogen sucks as a fuel. It’s why it isn’t used hardly anywhere despite the technology to use it existing for decades.
Hyperinflation. Just add water!
What is a hydrogen bank? What makes it different from a normal bank? Can a normal bank not do business with hydrogen companies?
How many did the EU send and what is the ramp-up of shell production in Europe looking like? Article feels incredibly uninformative without this info.
The Pentagon said in September that it was producing 28,000 shells a month and aimed to reach 57,000 next spring
The US ramp-up is looking real solid at least!
It amazes me the carbonless energy source, nuclear, is shunned so hard by the green community that Germany is reopening coal plants.
We live in truly wild times.
Yeah, my experience with it is that its…fine. Though I only use it on my work computer. I’m wondering if part of the issue is the home version ‘offering’ to hoover everything.
