Maybe migrating to kbin.melroy.org
TIL The Japanese call Yuzu what we (the Chinese) call the Pomelo
To combine the comments would probably require a revision to the lemmy protocol, plus an even bigger one to the backend software to keep backwards compatibility
…is that seriously your reason? Do you know about how Codeberg displayed something about a javascript error on top of that website for months? Mistakes happen, and as long as they have backup plans I don’t see how that is an issue.
Why does nobody ever recommend GitLab
Still don’t get the stigma by association… as long as there’s no evidence of changes we’ll be fine
The Waterfox blog post doesn’t mention it, and you’d need to change userChrome.css to do that atm. Personally I use TreeStyleTab as my primary tab view.
What’s auto hiding?
I thought .uk was Ukraine?
Edit: .ua is Ukraine, .uk is the UK. It seems like the register hates the ISO…
They knew it was risky AF (pun intended) but went for it anyway. It’s not like they were confused, they expected this
Pretty damning indeed, thanks
He backs every US war?
I’ll point to someone down this thread about eye contact in that case. It’s not like it costed much though, reviewers have noted that iSight’s display quality is quite horrible and it seems like all this features added was a small screen
I mean, if the price tag isn’t going to dissuade you…
For no good benefit? Try comparing the display to a HoloLens 2. There’s no current display technology that’s cheaper and allows you to see through while projecting the light at the same intensity. You can search it up.
Kochinski is a self-described progressive,[15] anti-fascist,[39][40] and libertarian socialist.[13][31][40] He has also described himself as a “dirtbag leftist” and “a big fan of democracy”.[39][14] In the 2020 United States presidential election, he opposed the “Bernie or Bust” movement and urged people to vote for Joe Biden,[13] calling a refusal to vote “stupid” and motivated by “[an] incredibly narcissistic ‘doomerism’ that prevents people from engaging in meaningful action”.[13] Kochinski opposes the United States embargo against Cuba and supported the withdrawal of United States troops from Afghanistan. He also opposed Donald Trump’s withdrawal of United States troops from Rojava.[41] While believing that tech companies have too much power, Kochinski also felt that Donald Trump being banned from various social media websites was an “unequivocally good thing”.[13] In 2022, Kochinski posted multiple videos and broadcast multiple livestreams condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine.[40][42]
Kochinski has criticized the online right for creating a “pipeline” that pushes people to radical hard-right views such as ethnic nationalism, disenfranchising women and for engaging in “absolute abject cruelty to trans people”. He has also criticized the online left for “purity politics” and for engaging in actions that create “great content but terrible political advocacy”.[13] Nonetheless, he believes that the left should engage in online advocacy because the internet allows for their message to reach a wider audience than any other medium and has argued that BreadTube has decreased the number of people online moving to the political right.[41] Following the arrest of manosphere influencer Andrew Tate, Vaush argued that Tate’s rise to popularity was due to the left failing to address the problems of young men and boys, saying they were being “pulled into fascism” because “the right talks to them and the left doesn’t”.[43][44]
In May 2021, he opposed Twitch’s use of the term “womxn”, saying “There is already an inclusive term for trans women and cis women, and it’s women … The only reason you [would not] believe that is if you don’t believe trans women are women.”[45] He has criticized Twitter for banning trans people for using the term TERF, which he argues is “categorically not a slur”.[24]
MS sudo also does UAC

I meant that the Japanese use the Chinese word for Pomelo to call the Yuzu
