I’m totally full of mental illness, but in my observation of people I suspect there are two kinds:
~ Crazy folk like me.
~ People who haven’t been diagnosed yet and who think overwhelming dispair / anxiety / malaise / mania / voices from God / voices from other less-nice figures / hypersexuality / crippling perfectionism / whatever, is just normal and everybody deals with that.
My rule of thumb is, everyone looses at least one screw every 10 years. Getting to know them is a matter of ‘can I live with the combined rattling sounds in our heads?’ Most people seek a therapist only if the noise gets too loud for themselves, so nobody is quirkless.
