I found the actual person in the photo while bored one night and she seemed fine. From what I could tell, the photos were really old. Really weird and creepy situation though
Here in Canada too unfortunately
The tagline seems to indicate they don’t need to be your own
For my city, that’s actually usually the local university radio stations and it’s great
Do you know what the impact of that is?
lol for real though, I’ve seen those signs plenty of times before in Canada but I’ve never actually seen any aircraft enforcing speed limits.

She’s the best little menace
Yeah I’ve been living that way more than ever since work stopped allowing us to use email clients other than gmail’s web app. I used to get email notifications with thunderbird but now I check my email like once a week when I remember
The only emails I ever get really are Jira and Github updates along with meeting invites. The updates are fine but I’m already on top of those and then the meeting invites just show up in my calendar so I don’t really need the actual email for them

I got up to 10,102 unread a while back before my friend begged me to mark them all as read
edit: to be fair Github spams me and my department doesn’t really email each other
edit 2: apparently I’m getting back up there with 494
The humour is based on saying that how someone acts is derived from the colour of their skin
edit: is it not?
edit 2: obviously Canada has a huge racism problem too, especially in regards to indigenous peoples but generally progressive people don’t make jokes like this because it’s honestly sort of racist
I know and I guess that’s my point. Mêmes like this basically just continue a weird modern “progressive” segregation when you’re all just Americans.
Edit: to expand on that, what I mean is that is this meme trying to say white skin is more the deciding factor on how someone acts vs the environment they grew up in?
I’m Canadian so same here but we don’t try to label things “white thing” or “POC thing” because that’s weird
It’s only Americans trying to make fucking high fives a race thing
I get that, I’ve just found Americans online like to inject race into everything regardless of where they are on the political spectrum
For me its the David Guetta song instead of Blue by Eiffel 65

I’ve been obsessed with Venjent lately
