Sorry, I got lost in a YouTube rabbit hole and spent an hour listening to music and crying a little, but it was Silent Planet in a tiny venue with, like, thirty people there and it was really cool. This is what the vibes were like, except there was no barrier and the vocalist walked around in the room sometimes. (The linked song is about the Native American genocide in the US. All of their songs are like that, and it’s kinda difficult to link to my favourites because a lot of them mention mental illness, suicide, and other potentially triggering stuff)

Yes, that’s a big part of why I like them. The booklets of their first three albums even have footnotes with references!
